The HGWP offers a rollicking mock history play giving voice to the forgotten 17th century poet and feminist Emilia Bassano, possibly Shakespeare Dark Lady. Though few facts are known about her, in Lloyd Malcolm's imagination she rages and rises up out of the dusty misogynistic past in full fiery color.
